Wetside Water Park Hervey Bay
WetSide Water Park is located on the foreshore in Pialba, Hervey Bay and provides a whole range of fun for kids (and adults) who love the water. WetSide is free to enter and you are free to use almost all activities including a special area for under 5s called TotSide. The FlipSide BoardRider wave machine incurs a small fee to enter.
The Water Park is generally open between the hours of 10am to 5pm but times do vary occasionally.Hervey Bay Regional Gallery
Hervey Bay Regional Gallery arranges a new exhibitions every 6-8 weeks, so every time you return to Hervey Bay there will be something new to experience.The Gallery is always an interesting place to visit and it provides opportunities for people of all ages to enjoy the arts.
Walk or ride the Esplanade
The Esplanade with it's walking/cycling path in Hervey Bay extends for 13kms from Urangan through Torquay, Scarness, Pialba and Point Vernon. Take a walk or ride a bike to grab a coffee or just get some exercise.
Whale Watching (July to Oct)
Experience some of the best whale watching in the world in Hervey Bay. There are a variety of boats, some larger, some smaller and personal or even sailing vessels.

Botanical Gardens
Experience the beauty and tranquillity of the Hervey Bay Botanical Gardens. Located in Elizabeth Street not far from the foreshore it is easy to access and is free of charge. It is a great place to view the local flora as well as some of the local birds that collect around the the ponds.
Visit Fraser Island
Take a day trip or stay longer on this famous sand island only 40 mins by ferry from Hervey Bay. Beautiful rainforests, pristine blue lakes, unique sand formations and amazing beaches are just some of the attractions of Fraser Island.
